Veturilo features a neat little indication that allows you a quick look at your distance from your vehicle. If you have your mobile device with you, that is. This is how you can set it up, with a single button.

1. Set “Enable distance” on your mobile app

Step 1

Once you’ve fired up your vehicle dashboard, as shown in Figure 1, you will find an “Enable distance” button on the vehicle status tab. Veturilo needs your approval to use location services before it can show you your distance from your vehicle. You only need to do this once.

Step 2

When you click on the “Enable distance” button, Android or iOS will prompt you with an authorization request, as shown on Figure 2. You need to click on “Allow”, which will give Veturilo access to your location. That way, Veturilo can periodically calculate your distance from your vehicle and show it to you on your vehicle dashboard.

Step 3

If you opted to allow Veturilo access to your location, but your GPS antenna isn’t active, you should be prompted with a second message, asking you to activate your GPS antenna, before Veturilo can show you your distance from your vehicle. Veturilo will use coarse or precise location settings, as you’ve set it on your device.

Step 4

Once you’ve activated your GPS antenna, Veturilo will take a moment to calculate your distance from your Vehicle, indicating it’s “Calculating distance…”

Step 5

A few moments later, you should be able to see your current distance from your vehicle, right below the driving status indicator, followed by the approximate address where your vehicle is currently parked.

And that’s all there is to it! You’ll be ready to find out how far you are from any one of your vehicles, no matter if you tend to forget where you parked them. Veturilo can help you save time in finding them, in a few seconds, every single time.
